袁虹（Hong Yuan），博士，学院市场营销系，教授，博士生导师，俄勒冈大学商业研究中心主任，伦德奎斯特商学院理查德·布士市场营销学荣誉副教授，美国国家经济研究局的研究经济学家，主要研究方向是公司定价和促销策略，消费者对定价和促销策略的反应，消费者信息搜索，以及实验和行为经济学。

Whether you are a graduate student, a post-doctoral fellow, a junior faculty, or an experienced scientist, publishing your research paper in quality academic journals is challenging. Even if you overcome the first hurdle and generate a valuable idea or piece of research - how do you then sum it up in a way that will capture the interest of reviewers? There’s no simple formula for getting published. But there are some challenges that will confront all academic writers regardless of their discipline. How to survive the critical first round? How should you respond to reviewer feedback? And what to pay attention to when you cross the finish line? Professor Yuan will share her experience as an author who has successfully published in top tier academic journals, an editorial board member and Associate Editor of multiple high-impact business/psychology journals. This is a rare opportunity to gain insights into the publication process from an author’s perspective as well as an editor’s perspective.
